as i mentioned last week, we had some friends over for cocktails during labor day weekend to celebrate the end of a great summer. i put together a few arrangements with some bright summery flowers, to go with the mood of the partay. i used orange dahlias, pink mums, teddy bear sunflowers, and some
camelia branches.
AND, in addition, my good friend brought these big gorgeous marigolds from her garden. they went perfectly with the rest of the blooms and, amazingly, they're still going pretty strong almost two weeks later!
i hope that you're enjoying these last warm days. i definitely am, but i'm also looking forward to lots of the things that fall has to offer - crisp weather, warm colors, sweaters...
