my posts have been a little sparse lately, partly because i've been spending some time reevaluating what i want to do and where i want to go with this little blog. i have some ideas for some changes that i think will make the blog more user friendly. another change that affects the blog is the new lens that i recently purchased...and love. it's a Canon EF 50mm f/1.4. it's my first non-kit lens and i can already see the drastic improvement in my photos. i'm most certainly a novice when it comes to photography, but i'm continuing to practice and i'm having a lot of fun with it.

~ i always like checking out the detox recipes on the goop website at this time of year. i've tried most of these and they were delicious.

~ i've been hearing about the kitchen and tabletop store march in san francisco and i'm dying to check it out. especially their tabletop products.
~ and, speaking of sf stores that i want to check out, i've also been hearing a lot about glassbaby and can't wait to see, in person, their beautiful candles in a rainbow of colors. PLUS, i love the heartwarming story of the company and that they are truly a company that gives back.
